Jim Posted February 19, 2021 Share Posted February 19, 2021 I have a problem with a ford focus 2008 tdci. After a few months, it blows the injector seal on number two cylinder. It had a new injector on that cylinder last summer as the seal had blown and the injector was leaking. Now the seal has blow again. They're the copper washer type. Miky Posted February 19, 2021 Share Posted February 19, 2021 Check the head under the copper washer hasn't got a groove worn into it. When the seal keeps leaking you would use a reamer to resurface the head before fitting a thicker washer to allow for material removed from head...
